Nola Day 1

Cafe du Monde and Beignets for breakfast while we wait for the NPS visitor passes for NOLA!!!

Then visited St louis cathedral !!! Ironic place as it celebrates st louis sedning the templars to defeat the egyptian ottoman empire ( 7th crusade ) ... Except the templars were defeated !! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seventh_Crusade

Ate the famous lousiana po boy with an aligator in it !!! :D

Then visited the battelfield site of the new orleans war of 1812 where the motley american army defeated the british. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_New_Orleans

Then made an unsucessful attempt to get to venice LA at the mouth of the delta
